MRI is often requested when other conventional imaging techniques, such as x-rays and ultrasounds, have not yielded the type of information your physician needs to complete his diagnosis.

D. Frank Fleming, M.D. is a native of Concord, NC. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Davidson College and completed medical school and residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He trained in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Neurology. Dr. Fleming is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and a former board member of the American Society of Neuroimaging. He is Board Certified in Neurology and certified in MRI/CT imaging by the American Society of Neuroimaging.
James S. Easterbrook, M.D. is a native of Carmel, California. He is a graduate of Stanford University in California (B.A.), and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. An internship was completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and a residency in radiology followed at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Easterbrook is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dawn Riddle has been the Lead Technologist and Administrator for MRI of Eastern Carolina since 1990. She has been associated with East Carolina Neurology since 1982, first as a CT/Carotid Doppler Technologist. A graduate of Pitt Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology, Riddle has been certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Radiologic Technology.
Kimberly Reynolds graduated from Pitt Community College with a degree in Radiologic Technology in 1989. Later that year she began working at East Carolina Neurology as a CT Technologist. Kim transferred to their new MRI facility, MRI of Eastern Carolina, when it opened in 1990. Kim sat for and passed the MRI Registry in 1999.
Wanda Gay joined the MRI of Eastern Carolina staff shortly after graduating from Pitt Community College with a degree in Radiologic Technology in 1992. She took and passed the MRI Registry exam in 1999.
Joanie Moore graduated from Radiologic Technology school in 1976. She is a registered technologist in CT and MRI who came to us from Wilson Memorial Hospital where she was the CT and MRI department supervisor.
